Hello Everyone!

So with the changes brought to us by ccp in Odyssey 1.1, It brought to my attention something I have been wishing for in my drone management window for a long time:

Docked drone health bars.

To elaborate, like in local space, drones will display their damage levels in the same fashion as local space as when docked in the drone bay.

On a separate, but related subject, on to the launch drones issue...

It would be VERY simple to add a button next to the drone groups called "launch" As far as ease of use goes. I know for a fact it isn't so easy back end, so I won't expect to see it for a long time.

The button would take the place of the drone hp bars for the groups, not the drones"groups have wasted *whitespace*", so you could launch drone groups with incredible ease.

Also, for yet another redundant, but just as useful feature would be the "While launched, show "return button" in place of the new launch button. This allows for people to quickly and easily launch and recall drones while being much more user friendly.

Thoughts?

Nice additions. Will throw in, 'A visual way to see what Mode the combat drones are in." I rarely had them out of aggressive, but I have nearly had my ass handed to me a few time due to literally a) not knowing what this did, b) not knowing I could make them only go after one ship, and c) there being no way, even if I did set them passive, and focused fire, to know they where set that way by just looking at the indicators. A small icon added, which shows say, red for aggressive, blue for passive, and maybe changed to some other shape for if its focued fire (or, for fighters, set to follow) would, it seems to me, be a lot easier to see what is actually going on.

Hopefully, with the drone controls being revamped, some of this will be happening. But, yeah, not being able to tell which of your drones are near death.. has been a problem 1-2 times, especially in those "bad spots" where they woke up another group, and I had to run, leaving me without all the drones I started with in the first place. :p

Docked drones health bars would be an awesome feature, when you are launching drones and don't know which are the damaged ones...

Lets just say I've lost a fair share of drones due to that.

It's not an awesome feature: it's a fix to an absurd situation. Please, CCP, get serious about this.

PLEASE CCP, have a look at at least duplicating the Health bars for in-Bay drones. It would make an incredible difference for game-play not to have to guess which of your drones are damaged. If you can know what drones are damaged IN SPACE you HAVE to be able to give us the knowledge of which ones are damaged in our own Drone Bay!

Workaround tip:

Create a "damaged" group and move the drones into that group when they get damaged.

+1 to the idea too. :)

Docked drone health bats would be a great improvement.

Don't know how you would do that on the fly, once recalled, the drone returns to its previous group so how do you identify it as the damaged one in order to move it?
