Cool, thanks.

I probably won't go that route - I'm fairly sure I'd have to grab the screen contents in some other way - and I don't have multiple accounts nor the time to put into the project for big changes. Also, with ISboxer around which can do similar things not too much point getting into that territory.

With 1.9?

Did you extract it properly to a folder where have write access?

Also, try running as admin.

I have the same problem. it is extracted properly, and I'm running it as Administrator. I am running 1.9.

Windows 7, 64 bit.

It runs when no eve clients are open. When one loads the program crashes. If you try to open it when the game is running it also instantly crashes.

Any idea what could be causing it? What can I do to help debug. I would really love to be able to use this program.

I found the issue, you need to have Aero Enabled - Missed that in the OP. I was using the Windows classic theme for my desktop, which doesn't use Aero, hence the issues.

Pretty sweet little program. Nice work. Hope you do continue to develop it when you've got more free time.

My only real gripe with it is that you need to have Aero enabled, but that's because I'm still stuck in the past using the "windows classic" theme (which doesn't use the same graphics engine that Aero uses). Yes yes, boring, old etc etc :P

Though luckily there's a 3rd party Windows classic styled theme so I'm set.

Can I remove one client from the overview?
I run 3 chars in 2 screen. So 2 chars share one screen, but the other one got one for himself.

I just want to use this programm on client B and C, not A. Possible somehow?

Thank you very much.

We allmost got it. There is a small bug though:
If I focus on one of the client that shares the screen (B and C) it works:

But if I focus on client A, the Preview and client in the forground (but without focus) are the same:
http://imgur.com/issMU3j

You need to tell your programm, that if I focus on a client that is on the blacklist, it shall not change the preview.

* Robustness to ' in character names. (in fact, was me being bad @ xml)
* Doesn't crash if AERO is disabled - instead shows a warning in settings window.
* Some robustness to AERO being turned on/off while running (but can still crash if AERO toggled very fast)

Hello,

I installed this on WIndows 7 64bit, two monitors. However, when I open two clients, the thumbnails stay on top of each other and I do not know how to change it. I would like to have a bar on the side with the thumbnails and the main charactor on main screen, with 2nd screen showing the alts, to whatever alt I change the focus. Thanks.

Hey thanks for trying it out.

Just to check; did you
a) Log in with any of the clients? My design's perhaps a bit flawed, but each layout is made unique by the title of the thing it's showing -> if you don't log in they'll be named the same (just "EVE") and as such have the same position ... :)
b) Do you have the frames around the previews (found in the main window) active? You can use that to re-arrange them and then disable the frames for a more integrated look.

You could achieve something like what you describe, probably closest is if you disable the "unique layout for each Eve client" option, and add the main client to the "blacklist" (check to force hide).

EDIT:
there is this odd bug with blacklist that I need to resolve, but please let me know if these instructions worked for you or not.
