Having it so we can display other window's outside of just eve.

Played around with this tonight. My method of storing window positions by their titles breaks badly when using a browser, which changes titles for every page you load. I'd have to work around that.

EFT worked fine tho.

Also, see if 1.6+ fixes your issues. It should.

Do you store and reassign certain clients to certain monitors in multi-monitor configuration?
Because if you restore client to a wrong monitor, not the one selected in it's settings, it start to eat CPU at a crazy rate. I.e. in my setup, an EVE client placed on monitor #1 generate 160 FPS, where on it's proper monitor #2, it only go with VSync and never break 60.

Alright it appears I have feed back already :P

The zoom look's good, however, due to placement is un-useable. A suggestion would be to include which corner to anchor the expansion. Right now it by default goes from from top left, ideally for my placement i would need it to do so from the bottom right. I would imagine other's might want it from the top right, or even the bottom left. For the interface you could include 4 box's in the form of a square to choose the corner from which it expands from.

interesting. i havent tried dual monitors so i cannot say what windows is doing in this situation and why you get a big drop in performance. it is not something i can control most likely. i'll see what i can do tho.

Development halted for a bit while I play the game and work on other projects.

Once back into it I want to mess around with multi monitor solutions, better resizing on zoom, and a optional "container" for the previews with automatic tiling inside (so it's easier to move them around as a group).

Interesting tool for sure, reminds me of the outdated EVE Windowed Mode Helper tool: https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=8660

Would be possible to try to copy a feature from that tool? Really loved the possibility of copying a little part of the game window and be able to move it wherever i wanted, like just the local or overview for example.

I do not unfortunately :/ Tried to look but could find anything, though the feature is explained in the thread:
Quote:
EVE client view windows.
From the client switcher you can use the option 'new window' to open as many as 8 view windows into your client, the views will update themselves at the same time as the client. You can control the client with the mouse through those views.

Edit: To explaining it in my own words, you could draw a square box, whatever size you wanted over one of the clients, and it would create a new window, with only the part you selected from the game, and you could move it wherever you wanted. Example: So i could have 4 clients up, and make a cut out of the local on each of the client and arrange them on my desktop to be able to see them all at once for example, while i where on another client.

Ah, yeah I can see that being useful for monitoring gates or whatnot. We'll see! It's more than a tiny change.

Whole of eve-files seems to be down! Unless Chribba fixes it I'll have to find another place to host.
