Ummm...there are exceptions. If you are a veteran player and mess with new players in starter areas...well let's just say, "Enjoy your ban." Cool

I see your disappointment and I raise you Gaspard the friendly ghost (he was killed shortly after the making of this video).

There's a reason in even the meanest PvP games why newbies have starting areas removed from the antics vets can do, and a main one is money.

More people try out a game than actually stay to play, and antics like some would do hurts the bottom line, by chasing potential customers away.

No business with the right mind is going to hurt their gravy train.

So, despite all the "Hello Kitty" rhetoric, push hard enough, CCP will step in to the point vets understand it's just better to move on and pick on better targets. In a way even EvE players feel the sting (which in the end isn't much more than a Hello Kitty gameplay, since they'll attack newbs and think it's a legit strat).

Odd to see these threads and then people making these kind of threads also complaining about "hisec overpopulated" and lets "revamp nullsec".

First of all, the way eve does the "Empire Space" thing just send a clear message for new players: This is hisec, imagine how nullsec is.
Then, you get people amuzed by the way new players will have their ISK stolen, ships blown up, hours of fitting gone into wrecks and loot, and skills taking months to acquire maybe gone if you cant get the ISK to get your clone up. Those remaining after all that are the only ones who potentially get to leave hisec. Mostly they dont, and why ?

People complain and point to solutions that only further the problem. Hisec is overpopulated exactly because it is dangerous, you can war on it, you can duel on it, you can do general pew pew on it, so industrialists, gankers, explorers, ocasional pvpers, amongs others and combinations of those will find hisec very rewarding, because you can blow things up, hide, dock, gank, get concorded a lot but just run a few errands and wipe clean your deeds. Why leave hisec ? Just to wait fresh hisec drop outs on the gates to gank them.

If hisec worked as a city, and you cant shoot, duel, blow things up, just for the fun of it, all those fond of doing it would have to migrate to low and nullsec, even the occasional ones. If corps, alliances and pilots were to hardly revert low standings and shoot on sight in hisec statuses, they would care to try going out of it.

As it is today, the ideal thing is to those already on null and lowsec to go to hisec to gank, scam and blow people up "securely".

And among those who dont get it, are many in CCP. LoL
