This is basically my general view of how EVE should go forward with some detailed feature suggestion.

I hope this revitalization of EVE ends with this winter expansion. Finished V3, ship rebalancing and the industry UI with the addition of the usual and welcomed small things. 3 years of polishing is really enough. We need new tools, new content.

I also hope that meaningful WIS content will be developed. With meaningful content i mean our CQ, the station services, hangars and the station bar.
- In CQ i d like to see the screen with more features. Watching streams of AT or SCL and why not matches of EVE: Valkyrie.
- Station services like Science and industry and reprocessing plant where with mini games you could improve your outcomes.
- Hangars where we could walk around and enter our ships. Also with a fitting mini game of our ships we could improve slightly the performance of our modules. Here should be repairing mini game also which could reduce our repair costs
- The bar where there is a poker table, pool table so we can engage in those mini games with our corp members. And why not make tournaments also.

*Our chars would have an exhaustion bar which would limit us to a certain numbers of mini games per day.

Next thing that will add to the goal of the true space SIM is the modular POS. This is really essential to have in a game. In game housing is omnipresent in todays gaming world, why not having it in EVE also. Modular POS should be deployable in every single point not only on grid. It would work same as actual POS without the annoying problems it has at the moment of course. This content is important for what i am to talk about next.

EVE vision
Open Jove space, or some random region. Call it "Void sec" or whatever, just to make it different from nullsec. You will see why. This kind of space will be void like. It will be mostly whole black with no or just little stars far, far on the horizon.
We would warp manually. Turn the ship in a certain direction, hit the warp module (yes it is a module that uses fuel) and hope that you will find something. This module improves the speed of your warp.

It will be hard but it should be. Not like now where u get everything handled on a plate. You basically warp in one direction until you get something on 64AU scanners. Than u can probe it. Of course you cannot warp endlessly in one direction because fuel would run out. So what you do. Well, you construct a modular POS where you would store the fuel and other goods that will be needed for further expansion.

*Modular POS should be upgradable. By skills and with structure. It would define how much overall m3 can be stored in it (modules, goods and ships included) and how many characters can be inside it at any time. Market structure should have permissions who could view, buy or sell from it at what range.

Lets continue with our adventure. So, we made our base somewhere far and in an unknown place to others. It was enabled for us by a special new exploration battleships size ship which has bonus on that module fuel consupntion. We have the bookmarks of the starting point and our new base.

*Starting point can be a big stargate opened by a collective endevour. The 2nd part of this endevour is making a 2nd stargate that will bring us back to the Empire and the 3rd one can be building a station, a hub in the void zone.

The voyages are dangerous because Jove or some other npcs can be met. Better be in a fleet, or solo but very fast and evasive. Basically you start the search again. Your are after the signals or Nebulas. Nebulas can be hard to spot if very, very distant, but it means something is there. Solar system! Here the true game starts. Exploiting the resources, huge amounts. Making another base here, producing fuel. We are not dependant of the Empire anymore!

Exploration, new Jovinian tech. Ships, modules, rigs and patches.

*Moon belt mining is very important because passive gain of these resources would be to much. Jovinian incursions happen. Must defend those mining OPs. Must defend PI, our precious fuel materials. Here comes the DUST mercenaries. DUST mercenaries battling in PvE against Jovinians to save our PI infrastructures, or get their share of new shinny tech.

*I mentioned patches above. What are those? Well every MMO has some layers of gear
Ship - Char
Modules - items
Rigs - Gems
Patches on modules - Enchants on items
These patches will enhance our modules with % with stas that are present on our modules. Ex. +0.1-1% of dmg, optimal, falloff, tracking, armor, shield, sensor strength etc. Numbers will depend for every stat. These patches will drop as BPC, in some rare occasions as BPO, already attached to modules that will dorp form NPCs or as a patch item.
The patches should not be OP nor be able to be mass reproduced. It will serve mostly to boost key ships in your fleets, or for earning nice isk by selling them to lone wolfs or small gang pvpers that like to bring out their shenanigans.

So we made a new base in this system. We claim it by putting an infrastructure hub. It gives us bonuses, but it has a negative side also. Jovinians will attack it. And it can go form +5 to -5 which will nerf the system substantially.

*This IHUB system can be introduced in the empire also. It is easily brought to -5 and easily repaired back. Mercenaries and small gangs in nullsec warfare anyone?

Woot?!?! The new system is so far away from the Empire gate. It will be impossible or very, very hard to exploit it and sell it in Empire. What to do? Try to make a station acting like a trade hub with Chribba and giving the cordinations to everyone, or maybe make a stargate between 2 of our bases and bring us closer. But the stargate points the direction of our main base. If the first stargate that is closer to the Empire is discovered our whole operation can be blown. Hmmm decisions, decisions.

To be continued...

At the beginning this sec will be made for lone explorers and small gangs because the expenses of the manual warps and the inability of modular POS to retain much of m3 and chars due to skills, time and investment limitations. Eventually when most of the space is explored and connected, only than it will be worth for big entities to wage wars for it. Of course big entities can send their explorers groups at start too but than they will loose the numbers advantage.

This region should be cube like not linear. So there is much more space to explore. It shouldn't have many solar systems and only 2-3 constellations. but the volume of the cube should be like the biggest regions in New Eden.

When the big wars start to happen in this region. CCP simply opens another one with randomly generated numbers and positions.

And this is the end. I know there are some complicated things but it think it can be done. Most of the things are already here, it just needs some code tweaking here and there. Of course it will need new tools also but nothing is impossible.

The biggest hassles are WIS part and modular POS. We could ignore the WIS part for example and go straight for the exploration vision where the modular POS is a must same as the moon belt mining.

Other new mechanics:
- Building stargates (which CCP already plans)
- Manual warping module (we got something similar in the micro jumpdrive)
- Jove culture (ships, modules, structures)
- Patches
- New exploration ships

Tweaking of code:
- New IHUB mechanics
- Jove incursions
- Minigames

And i guess art department would have lots of work

TY for listening!

Once you open Jove up the game, they will no longer be interesting. People want Jove content because they're mysterious and powerful. Think Babylon 5 when you learnt about the Shadows or Mass Effect 3 when you learn the true history of the Reapers, didn't both races suddenly become so lame because they lost their secrets?

There is no need to open Jove space when NullSec is still mostly a huge empty wasteland outside of central ratting/renting systems and warzones. CCP's building of stargates to new areas to colonies still (in my opinion) seems like a cop-out and a Sov 2.0 because they can't fix the current issues with Sov.

WIS would be great development but it needs to bring worthwhile features and content or it will forever be rejected by the the "PVP Spaceships!" crowed.

My view on fixes for EVE.

Make Empire more Dynamic, FW control effects the levels of refineries, LP rewards for misisons, sales tax etc. - Here you have HighSec "nerf" but one that makes the game feel more alive and actions within Empire meaningful.

Revise PVE content so it's closer to a PVP feeling, we shouldn't have to have deadspace fit ships with no defence vs PVP fit ships just to make good ISK.

Make Sov holders able to develop their Empires, right now Sov is basically just a name on the system with some minor upgrades to make a bit on money. If we're building Empires let us have empire building tools. When NullSec see's the level of activity, trade, commerce, life etc. that HighSec does I will believe CCP did something to fix it.
NBSI should not be the only viable way to hold space, there should be larger rewards or gains from opening you space to neutrals or allowing pilots to roam around. Tale Alliances take % of market transactions, recruit mission agents... there are hundreds of ideas out there.
An additional note on that... LET NULLSEC HAVE THE DAMN UPGRADE FOR CHEAPER CLONES !!! We're the ones dying in bubbles and losing our clones every fight, not the militias!

POS rebuild would be a good idea, put it out there.

*edit, horrible spelling, grammar etc. not fixing it... getting coffee instead.
