So seriously, has anyone seen this type of specialized chars for sale on the forums? I've literally went back 50 pages :C

One ship. One fit. Though, not a frigate.

We're around if you look hard enough.

So much thinking and planning in this thread. Go shoot some stuff. Lose ships, have fun. I have never bought a character- makes me feel like putting cheat codes in a game. Hell, I dont even skillplan much at all and I miss days of training sometimes. It's a game not a job. I can just about guarantee you will never surpass Chribba's 200m plus skillpoints. But who cares, he used them to mine veldspar.

See Bio for isk doubling rules. If you didn't read bio, chances are you funded those who did.

It's 6 months of training, you could always just do it yourself. There's plenty of PvP characters for sale, although generally people don't sell 1 ship / 1 fit characters. The problem being that you're aiming for a very small target market with that. It's better to train it in a few things, if your only goal is to sell it.

If the price is right, then sure. But I have to say this. I am just a spare character being trained for fun. I've never undocked. You'd need another month or so before being actually usable in player combat.

One often over looked aspect with PvP is your real life skills. There 2 major skills that matter here. Your ability to fit and fly the ship well against the right targets. The second is perhaps the most overlooked. Budget. I fly ships that are cheap enough that i can afford to lose a lot before i need to care. I have decent PI income to support my current ship lose rate when i get round to doing it.

Also i have fun with cheap ships. I still love flying a t1 rifter for a few million. Currently i am getting podded too often for implants and use the pod death express to get around eden sometimes.

Flying in fleets is also awesome fun. There are a few places that do "public" fleets. Like bombers bar (have the odd frig fleet, even a rookie ship run tonight).

But yea, to even get an idea of what you would be able to kill with a given ship and fit is something that is hard to learn without just flying em and see what works.

AKA the scientist.

Death and Glory!

Well fun is also good.
