Roleplaying doesn't really make me think of immersing myself into a character. Roleplaying has a different meaning for me; delightfully naughty adventures with the missus.

People do. I do, from time to time, because occasionally it adds a layer of immersion and meaning that generates some amazing storytelling. However, this is not RP, this is pathetic. If he was in a sane relationship, they probably didn't waste it playing EVE. If it was an even saner one, they don't rely on valentines day as a reason to spend time together. In the REAL WORLD.
