People do. I do, from time to time, because occasionally it adds a layer of immersion and meaning that generates some amazing storytelling. However, this is not RP, this is pathetic. EVE is not a dating game, it is a spaceship game, and dating in EVE is not what I would consider priority WiS content in the near future, but that's just my opinion.
