Black Legion, Crimson Legion, Gray Legion, Blood Legion, Death Legion, etc., I'm pretty sure that "Something Legion" is a standard name choice by 90% of 12 year old gamers, most of which don't know that the 1930's even existed.

Besides "a group of loosely federated night-riding bands operating in several States without central discipline or common purpose beyond the enforcement by lash and pistol of individual leaders' notions of "Americanism"" sounds more like a Tea Party reference than a reference to an Olde Timey Racist Group(tm).
