Topic says it all Cool Before I'm ready to throw this out to the wild, I'll note the following...

- Bloemkoolsaus and Fubar played key roles in getting route determination working again. Without their help I'd still be bashing my head against the wall trying to figure out how to extract some of the SQL table info.

- The Z axis is no longer upside-down! This had the wonderful side effect of making the switch between k-space and w-space work smoothly.

- If you have an option selected in "Color solarsystems by" for one space that doesn't make sense when switching to the other (eg. having "class" selected while viewing w-space, then switching to k-space), or left behind from the last time you closed the program, the map window will stop responding. WORKAROUND - Just color your stars by something that makes sense, and restart the program.

- The program is *functional*, but not guaranteed accurate yet when it comes to jump fuel calculations and range. These haven't been touched since AcriQuo wrote the program in 2009, and I vaguely recall CCP fiddling with some of these values in the time since. I'll sweep through these in a future build.

- At present, this has only been tested on Win7 x64 with a 32-bit Java environment.

- While I'll always have the current and dev versions hosted on my machine at home, it's only a residential DSL, so I'll need someone with a little more bandwidth to host this long-term, or at least until I get myself a real server and webhost.

If you're looking for file hosting, I'm happy enough to stick copies on my server.

Though you might want to think about:

http://eve-files.com/
or possibly dropbox for storage.

Woo! CSM XI!

That was my first thought, but it seems to be config'd not to allow .JAR files. I've poked Chribba via IRC to see if that's the case, or if something else is getting in the way.

Thanks... a lot of fits and starts due to RL issues (a cute little diaper factory among them), but one of those things where once you're itchy, you just gotta stop and scratch. There's still some functionality that doesn't seem quite right to me, and issues like w-space labels not being on the same plane as the stars themselves, but the core is working, and that's what matters Big smile

Indeed... neat project of your own over there... never thought of using Twitter as a way to check market prices, but it would lend itself well to a quick "Should I sell a PLEX when I get home, or just use it myself" while stuck with wifey at the grocery store Cool

Until then, I've updated my original post with a download link now that I'm home, and will wait to hear back from Chribba about Eve-Files.

Getting reports of dependency issues, looks to be caused by my IDE relying on some leftover DLL files, rather than the JAR files it should have been using. Trying to sort this out, and I'll spool v1.51 as soon as it's sorted.

v1.51 has been released. It can be a little slow to start, but works
- Dependencies and natives for Win32 now included

It wasn't hard to modify AcriQuo's original code to work after Oracle stopped supporting the 'start from web' piece of Java. It's been working just fine for me for over a year. There was a 1-line change to one of the .java files to give Black Ops ships the same jump range as Titans. There also might have been a recent API change somewhere because the last time I fired it up there was an error message about some API data that wasn't available.

I have used AcriQuo's version (with my very minor changes) many times to plan capital jump routes throughout New Eden, never had a problem with it giving incorrect answers. Whether or not a system is in or out of cyno range for a given ship and skills is quite accurate.

Good luck with your project.
