Ok, so when it comes to viewing the age of a character, you can't really base it off the day in which they were born.

This is because a lot of eve players have commonly taken a hiatas from the game at some point in time, or the character was an alt that got shut off for a while.

So I have a proposal

Show the actual age of a character.

14 days
1 month
2 years
5 years 6 months and 22 days

Whatever

The purpose of this is because other players will have a better understanding of how much SP you may have my determining your actual age as a player.

You may have make a character back in 05, but you didn't play eve from 06 to '10. So your character is actually only maybe 2 years old.

So on top of a new display method of a character's age, any duration in which they either

a) aren't training a skill

or

b) the account is innactive

than that is time that doesn't count towards your characters age.

So now either you have a character from '05, but because you were either innactive or weren't training a skill, than your age represents that.

Are you one of those creepy old man that spies on everyone's private affairs?Lol

Why would it interest you if other ppl are training SP or not?

And this adds value how?

What about someone who has multiple characters on one active account? Maybe they bought a trade alt a year ago that is from 06 and never trained that character themselves, but the character has been on an active account its whole life.

In all honesty, I personally don't care how much or how little SP a character has or how long it has actually been played.

So, in other words, no. I do not support this product and/or service.

Surrender is still your slightly less painful option.

After a certain point, Age =/= Power.

Stop gauging who you can and cannot fight based on how old they are... just size up their ship, compare that to your ship, check if he/she has friends in local, and dive in.

Seems the OP is doing everything he can to remove risk from the game.

Dude, the best way to play the game is to just rock out with your **** out.

This a million times.

This is my SOP. Doesn't always work for me, but them's the breaks.

Though if they are Australian you might wanna bring some buddies, since Australians are now the new supercaps, the crazy bastards.
