Black Rise Frigate Roams

Starting soon Frigate roams through Black Rise will be commencing lead by DutchGunner.

These will be using cheap t1 frigates so you need not worry about costs unless you really are THAT poor..if so ask around and I'm sure someone will dip in and help you get a ship fitted out for the roam.

The first Roam will take place on Friday 2nd August starting at 19:00 Eve time staging out of Nourvukaiken.

In terms of doctrine Dutch has put a few basic fits together that are usable by even a one week old toon however feel free to modify yours with all sorts of T2/shiny if you feel inclined to do so. Contact DutchGunner for more info on these fits.

We cannot make a promise that you will survive this so consider you ship a wreck from undock.

So, in the miracle chance the Devs do spawn Heth for some crazy reason and we do take him down, what is the fleets intent? Return for justice, execute their own summary justice? or what?

I imagine we shall follow the CEP request and attempt to return him to Caldari Space for Trail...however he may also get 'accidentally caught in the crossfire' This fleet is more to help people get back into things and get more used to low sec if they don't go their alot rather then an attempt to draw Heth out...if he does come out to play then even better.

Lucas has been right on most accounts.

As stated by CCP Falcon, it's the summertime and thus things are slowed down a bit. However, as Grideris is no longer available, I wish to start leading fleets around.

The main goal is to get people to get used to low-sec and keep the ball going on offering players the opportunity to get into live events (CCP or player run).

In the small chance that we do encounter Heth, the plan is to capture him and have him handed over to the State.

Feel free to contact me when i'm online. Might not always have the time, but i'll do my best to make as much time as possible to answer questions.

Should it be a succes, I want to slowly upgrade the ships from frigates to bigger ships.

Cool, I figured the player purpose was to simply get people doing stuff. But wanted to make sure we weren't going to end up in a situation where Falcon springs a surprise Live Event on us and the fleet fragments into infighting arguing over what to actually do about the RP reason we are all there.
We had an idea floated about doing Vanguard fleets from Live Events also in channel, but that doesn't seem to have gone very far.

I've set up about 20 pre-fitted Punishers in the staging system ready to be handed out to newbro's should they be in need of a ship

Join the FCORD mailing list. They have done five or so at this point I believe. Time zone unfortunately is terrible for me so I haven't been on any, but time zones are like that.
