Flashing line top and bottom of screen

Ok forgive me if this has already been answered.

flashing little red lines top and bottom of my screen when my shields are in red on my armor tank ship.
Any ideas how to get rid of them please?

It looks like it radiating from the hud.

fill up your shields and they will be gone

On a serious note, yes it has been answered, no you cant turn it off, if you armor tank you will just have too ignore the warble warble

HUD settings -> Configure damage alert doesn't work?

CCP Greyscale: As to starbases, we agree it's pretty terrible, but we don't want to delay the entire release just for this one factor.

Just ignore it. The only alarm you need to worry about is the hull alarm, and even then it's just a "challenge accepted" moment.
