Bounties with sharing

Odd question, but I thought I might try to clear this up. But can multiple people share a bounty? I'll give an example.

For instance, say a person's ship cost 5 mil. The bounty payout would be 1mil.

What if it took 2 people to destroy that ship. Do they get a split share of 500k each? Or does each person get 1mil as a reward?

Does joining a fleet affect this in any way?

Or, is it all paid to the one who gives the killing blow?

Read here, it says you have to be in a fleet, the payout is split.

If not in a fleet (or if more than one fleet is shooting the target) then the bounty goes to final blow, which makes it kind of random.
