Cosmic Signatures on System Scanner, Immediate?

So I was wondering if the signatures in your scanner window are up to date all the time?

For example, in a WH, if a new WH comes on it should appear in my system scanner window immediately? or is there a delay?

Just wondering because that would make life so much easier for me and my legion of C1 wh runners :D

I think there's a push from the server every now and then. I don't know what the resolution is - probably minutes rather than seconds.

i predict a recon uncloaking on your near future.

Well for example, once a wh is rolled, the sig shows up within 15 seconds usually. When a WH connects into ours, does that show up instantaneously too?

Yeah, because cloaked stuff shows up on d scan

I think it's 30 seconds instead of 15, and usually doesn't show up on the scanner list until you do something to refresh the list (i generally click the show anomalies button on/off). Sigs/anoms dropping from the list will also refresh the list.

With the increase in shiptoasting, the Report timer needs to be shortened.

This. It's not instant/immediate at all. You need to refresh the list often in order to make sure you're getting up-to-date information.
