I'd like to assure everyone paying attention to this crisis that as soon as it ends, I will immediately and with great diligence go back to shitposting, spamming ~~~~ everywhere and shedding the use of any capital letters.

When did you stop?

On a hunch, I am going with just after Dominion and Mittens shitpoasting like skyrocketed just after IncarnaRoll

About seven thousand pilots. Not exactly seven thousand, not above seven thousand, not more then seven thousand. About seven thousand which is more or less.

What you attempt to imply here Nicolo da'Vicenza? Lack of English language skills? Google translate can help in that case.

How can the sentence be entirely correct when the leader of the second largest alliance states that he is the leader of the largest alliance?

I can see he is trying to do some good, but he has to put the ego away and try to stick to the facts.
It doesn't really matter that he is only the leader of the second largest alliance anyway, so why pretend otherwise?

Unless .. maybe he just isn't very in touch with his own alliance ... in which case how in touch is he with the game?

Don't get me wrong, I want Mittens to get this right because if people can just rubbish is arguements it works against the people he represents.

He is starting off from a bad enough position after his previous defence of Incarna, so he needs to be squeaky clean now.

I'm actually so completely full of myself when it comes to EVE that the whole CSM thing is pretty ancillary to my "e-identity" compared to leading Goonswarm, which is itself ancillary to my 'true love' in EVE, running espionage in the glory days of spying before Dominion ruined it. Heh.

Essentially, the counterargument to "you're just doing this because you're full of yourself" is "actually, i'm so completely full of myself that it doesn't do anything for my ego, my ego is beyond even that." Sad but true!

I stopped posting regularly on the official forums years ago; they got so clunky, and the 2-5 minute timer between posts really impeded the flow. Plus, you had to log in repeatedly.

It's a ~golden age~ once more, forumwise.

To be fair, giving factually challenged interviews isn't against the CSM's charter, so long as they keep the NDA intact.

If you're not from nullsec you might not even know what a 'renter alliance' is, so I can understand the confusion. It is what it is. vOv

As a relatively new player, seeing information like this helps me to better understand the veteran player's point of view (and I'm not referring to the trolling obviously). I've only been playing since tyrannis, so the shear depth of what already is in game has kept me more than occupied. If there hasn't been any FiS content added since apocrypha, I can totally understand why incarnia angered so many. It added nothing, I don't even use CQ, i just stare the door.

To those veterans who are truly trying to help us understand the situation and improve it, I thank you.

i can see from your employment history that you're a newbie. so let me explain something to you about people in 0.0

not everyone in 0.0 is really a "0.0 alliance" per se. some of them are something we call "renters". they pay one of the real 0.0 alliances protection money and in return get to live in their space and carebear (hey.. nothing really wrong with that - we need carebears to build us ships and guns). some of them even pay enough that they get to hold sov. when you see "X Citizens" that's a renter alliance. not all of them use that naming convention.

you cannot properly count renters are part of the alliance.

Tedium and difficulty are not the same thing, if you don't realize this then STFU about game design.

Thanks for that - I'll pass that information on to someone who values your condescending attitude.

I would really appreciate it if you could do me a pie chart showing the ratio of renters in the #1 alliance and then one showing the same for the #2 alliance. I am sure you have those exact figures to hand, what with you being so superior an' all.
