hello all

i have a problem with destroying missile boats in pvp context ,the frigates do insane damage and they always warp scramble and web me so i can not get to any range when equipt with railguns or when i am blaster fit they destroy me in 1 min .

What can i do against this ?

First off that's a hawk not harpy its important to know what you are fighting, you are outclassed especially if you are new. I probably would have ran. Knowing when to fight and when to run is also important.

Don't use void, use fed or CN animatter, it tracks much better. Orbit closer, your optimal was 1500 and you were trying to orbit at 2500

In this situation an afterburner would be preferable to a MWD. Also use your prop mod, you set your orbit at 2500 but never got closer than 4500, brawlers need to get in close fast or they are dead.

Do not use buffer and active modules, go with one or the other.

Loose the CCC rigs for damage and or tank, your not gonna live long enough to utilize them

Continue to work on the core certificates. Your tanking and nav skills are pretty low, they will help more than you think.

As the poster above me said, that was a Hawk, but even if it had been a Harpy you'd have still been blown to bits. The Harpy and the Hawk are the two Caldari assault frigates and they do very high DPS.

I did take a peek at your killboard and I see that you do have trouble against regular T1 missile frigates:

So maybe some of the people who know about 1v1 can look at that and give you advice.
