fix cloaky ships

Sinds endless cloaking leads to allot of unwanted gameplay as afk cloakys i suggest:

1. Make each cycle of cloaking device take more cap then last so at one point take more cap then the regen of cap
2. Or stop cap regen iff activating cloaking device

This will make ppl to decloak or auto decloak out off cap.

Would suggest max cloak time on covers ops off 30 min

I suggest they leave cloaking as it is rather than create more problems than there are currently with your suggestion.

You should try reading all the other "I'm afraid of the big bad cloak" threads before posting a minor variation on a major theme. Your suggestion, in many different forms, has been posted before.

well we are light on afk threads today, shame you didn't see search to see both timer and cap use is a fossilized dead horse. Guess you like them bony.


and the usual: if they are not afk they will pop cloak when they want to (hint: use good bait that is not obvious). If they are afk, they can't hurt you (for the 10000 time read their KB activity...a US TZ player has no reason to fear me at 1900 on the east coast, I am at work in Asia then and none of my alts or main has ever had a kill at that time....and I cba to alarm clock it on the weekneds to play eve early morning, I like to sleep in lol)

siPLE FIX :

add new module, new skill for scanning cloacked ships. but scanning down cloacked ship should be long enoug ex 5-10 min

to prevent from afk cloacking

So? people can sit in a station for 24 hours a day too.

Interestingly enough they both have the same offensive abilities... none

The problem for you isn't really the afk cloaky... it's the psychological fear induced by viewing local and knowing someone hostile is in system.

Sindce endless afk docking leads to allot of unwanted gameplay as I can't know if the docked player is really afk or just waits until I let my guard down to undock and attack me, i suggest:

1. Charge a docking fee per 10 minutes of time being docked up based on the docked up players skill points.
2. docking up on a station should take at least 30 seconds, during which time the ship is still vulnerable, before the ship is actually removed from space.

This will force ppl to eventually undock or log off.

Would suggest an auto disconnect for docked up players after 15 minutes of inactivity....
EDIT 2: Or even better, an auto undock for inactive players with an auto disconnect one minute later.

It'll be awesome. Lol

They should remove all ships from eve. Everybody should be in pods bumping each other and bore each other to death.

Thats how eve should be, pod bumping.

After reading the OPs other responses in this thread, it's plainly obvious that this is yet another 'Nerf ALL cloaks' idea, trying to hide under the 'AFK cloaks are bad M'Kay' banner.
