Cyno / Titan Bridge Reminder Thread

CCP jus to remind you.
A lot of players is waiting and counting on you to change this.
If you check we had many ideas:
Some of them:
- limit the titan bridge range
- make cyno unstable in nature
- limit number of ships passing thru cyno ( cyno becomes unusable after 10th ship passes)


etc
This changes will only make eve better.

So...do you want your Jump Freighter to spawn off the undock? Do you like having your triage carrier spawn not on your fleet needing reps?

Limiting Titan bridge range would accomplish what exactly? I've suggested Titans be removed completely.

JF will be not affected.
If you move few ships thru cyno - nothing will go wrong.
If you deploy 100 carriers - just have 10 cynos on the station ;)
If you want to drop 200 battleships - have 20 titans ready.

Because after this change eve will be fun.

Yeah, I can totally see how pinging for 20 cynos and setting them up would be fun.

If you're gonna post here thinking your idea is the greatest thing since bacon and that it will save EVE and possibly all humankind with it, you're gonna have a bad time.

How, exactly, will making it harder and more annoying to move caps or to travel to fights make EVE more fun?

FYI - CCP won't pay any attention to your post unless you propose something specific, get lots of support for it and communally work out any issues with the proposal.

That is the idea ;)
Use for example pos cyno - it could have unlimited transfer capacity.

But you could no longer open 1 cyno in enemy fleet - and move 500 man fleet thru it.
You will have to use gates to move into enemy territory, or drop your people to near system on one of the cyno poses..

While having the ability to instantly transport 500 ships and drop them right in the middle of the enemy might seem a bit overpowered, think of the alternatives. Having to light 20 cynos just to move your fleet is not a good solution. It only makes things more annoying, especially if the mechanic that requires the cyno ship to remain still for the duration of the cyno is preserved.

Also, if your enemy is good, they will camp your pos cynos and all the gates. How will you enter the system then?

Simply - move your fleet by the gates.

This will allow a lot of ground control fights.
Now what is the point of holding ground if enemy can just take titan bridge and land on your back?

And if the gates are massively camped? What then?

And if you don't want the enemy cynoing in, use cyno jammers. Then they'll have to use the gates. Problem solved, right?

Or if you can't have cyno jammers, bubble the gates and kill any cyno ship that tries to come in. What say you, you have a blue on your fleet that has a cyno fitted ready for the enemy? Well, that's what makes EVE interesting :)

You cannot camp gates 24/7 - but if you can , and want - then ok.

And tbh.

Your ideas go along the lines of putting more effort to jump fleets into a system. Why not put yourself some effort to guard it?

You think hotdrops are boring, other people might disagree.

If any of your proposed solutions were to be implemented, EVE would just reach a point where having 10 Titans jump ships to 20 cynos would be the norm. That doesn't make EVE better.
