Revenant is so irrelevent, why?

The most expensive non-limited ship in the game and its the worst investment you can make.

What is CCP thinking here?

The ship isn't even worth using because the -MUCH- cheaper alternatives are 4x better. I mean if it was at least competitive with other supercaps, then it wouldn't be so bad. But why is it so terribad?

Besides being a killmail, the ship has absolutely no use. Why did CCP even waste time making it? (Doesn't even look good)

It is literally and hypothetically a piece of ****. Well done CCP.

CCP doesn't set the price. If no one wanted them, they'd be cheaper.

people want them because it's rare. same reason people collect really ****** things. Not because they're neat, but because they're rare.

That's a Templar, an Amarr fighter used by carriers.

The harder a ship is to acquire has an effect on its price, so you are telling me that CCP had nothing to do with this? Roll

Even if it was much cheaper, it would still be equally worthless.

Then don't buy/fly one. The guy who got it popped sure did find some value in it.

I'm questioning CCP's ship balancing not asking for opinions on if I should buy a revenant or not.

Maybe it is a social experiment to see if people would buy a piece of **** if it costs alot.

Shocked

People buy fake poop. Why can't we let them buy poop like spaceship? They spend thier money, real or fake, on whatever the hell they want.

The value of a piece of crap is subjective, some companies and organisations have made selling expensive pieces of crap, both physical and ethereal, their entire business model, and are very successful at it.

In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

Why would anybody buy fake poop when you can get the real thing for free.

IIRC it used to hve the best jump range of all super carrier. It got nerfed to where it is now. There probably was a reason for that.

How the hell am I supposed to know that? I saw it in the prank section of a e-store. I figure that if there were many models, there must be a market for it. Just like there is a market for a giant turd spaceship.

Because trying to balance things based on cost is a ******* terrible idea.

It originally had a normal Carrier's jump range. They nerfed that because it was a bad idea.

Hence the design of it might not be as big an accident nor a lack of foresight as many presumed. CCP might have punked the gaming community on this one.
