I've seen the tutorial video, I'm googleing a written guide as I speak.

What I am asking about here, is the results of Planetary Interaction.

How is it? Is it decently profitable? suitable for a Primary career path?

being skillful at Planet Management, does it have any Null/Low-sec and Corporation applications?

also, I thought that Planet Management was supposed to be how you interact with DUST? how does that occur? or am I mistaken?

1.) It's nice passive money
2.) Profitable depends on what you produce and where and markets in general.
3.) Well PI is very limited interaction and you can maintain planets with about 5 minutes a day. So not really a full time profession.
4.) PI is mainly personal stuff, some corporations might buy the PI products though for corporation manufacturing of POS / Outposts / POS fuels.
5.) You are wrong. PI and Dust have nothing in common. The only real Dust <> EVE link is in FW where Dust controlled regions helps one faction.

Personal channel: Crazy Dutch Guy

Help channel: Help chat - Reloaded

Public roams channels: RvB Ganked / Redemption Road / Spectre Fleet / Bombers bar / The Content Club

depends on what you call decent. you can have your PI pay your plex if you train it on all three characters and take care of it. it scales with effort up to about one hour/day, so if you play casually, you can do it as your main occupation for some time. if you do it outside of hisec, it is even more profitable (i've heard credible reports of 2bil per month per account).

not per se but large corporations and alliances will often offer to buy your PI products at a reasonable price and then use or ship them in bulk.

dust is a whole other can of worms. as of now, PI has nothing to do with dust, but this may change in the future.

I should buy an Ishtar.

The good way is to practice to efficiently placing your structure in hihg-sec..
you never gonna get it right the first time..
and try to put in place a supply chain that combine many products = more profit
then when you get the hang of it
find a quiet low sec that has no station..
best profit and low traffic..

I'v been doing low-sec PI for months now and just avoid being a juicy target on a Saturday nigh and you will be fine..
do your critical moves during off-peak hours.

as you get more specialized into it
consider training a 2nd and a 3 alt into it for maximum profit.
as it was mentioned PI take about 10 min a day when you start 24h cycles but
with 3 char running 6 planets each (current maximum)
and 1 hours cycles I could do it all day. with 15 min break each hour..
