Buying PLEX from Amazon illegal?.

Hello i am unsure whether it is illegal to buy PLEX from Amazon.

It's completely legitimate. They aren't a reseller; it uses game connect, your purchase actually gets routed directly to CCP. It takes a bit longer than purchasing a GTC from a retailer though.

Also be warned, you get PLEX directly in your account. You won't get a time code.

While Amazon is supposed to be legitimate, take care on purchasing through them. I was banned by CCP because of my purchase through Amazon. The specific issue is outlined in the amazon product reviews, but the gut of the matter is that if Amazon issues a return of the PLEX due to system issue, CCP auto-bans you for Amazon's action. It took me weeks of back and forth with Amazon and CCP to get the issue resolved and my account reactivated. To make it worse, CCP failed to even notify me that I was banned or why I was banned.

As a new player to Eve, I was so discussed with both companies handling that I quit playing for several more weeks. Not good handling by two companies that I make purchases from, but at least if it happens to you, you will know why.
