Legion - solo 7-8/10 possible?

I was wondering, is it possible to solo low to mid 7/10, 8/10 DED rated and probed Blood Raider complexes?


7/10 - Blood Raider Coordination Center
8/10 - Blood Raider Prison Camp

+ probed unrated combat sites (in null sec of course)

Blood Raider Base (did solo in abaddon)
Blood Raider Fortress (also did solo in abaddon)
Blood Military Complex (did not want to risk my pimped abaddon Lol)


Main thing i'm concerned about is web towers in 7/10 and 8/10 and ofc 20+ BS + ~20 BC/Frig rats in there :D

Please, if any of you have a good fit for this, I would really appreciate if you share it with me :))
I understand that Deadspace mods are must for this, and don't mind it if this is possible:)


Even if its only possible to solo 7/10 and BR Base/Fortress only, please share the fit Roll

Don't blood raiders neut heavily?

Legion being an armour ship probably won't do too well since it will have to be active tanked.

Yeah they do neut, but as I was soloing those sites in abaddon, with cap stability @ ~25% , and 3-4 neuts on me - rats could not suck my abby dry :D

Not entirely sure how cap is compared with the legion but I mean if you can solve the cap issue with neuts you should be ok in the legion since it can do an even better tank than the baddon but obviously not as much dps.

Hmm. I don't like it.

While it's true that the neuting in the Blood 7 and 8 is nothing compared to the Blood 9 or Serp 6, it will take a bigger chunk out of a cruiser than a BS. Harbingers and Archbishops have to be put down early from 30+ km, period. I also recall the web towers sittting out at 50km (maybe slightly more?) which will make them rough to take down in a Legion under heavy incoming damage.

I'll play with fits when I get a chance but from past attempts to build a truly viable Legion plexer I have my doubts. At the very least I think you want to look at two TCs in the mids and a Corpum/Centum repper instead of the Corelum.

B-type repper pushes out some solid numbers. Can mix the membranes as you see fit, but I wouldn't shy away from the A-type EM simply because it's fairly inexpensive. Dropping the C-type EANM should save you enough to upgrade the repper. Whether you go with a second ANP II is up to you; I'd probably do it.

The third heat sink really buys you quite a bit of time shaved off as well; 14% more damage on target will help the grind that is null DED sites. Obviously, stay away from those neut BSs, but otherwise this might just do you. I'd still ideally like to get more range out of it, but that's just me.

It is incredibly easy for a cruiser, even a t3 cruiser to be neuted out. A heavy neut on a battleship running 2-3 cycles will neut out any cruiser unless you're packing safe guards, which no one does.

7/10 should be doable. I've done a 7/10 in a Legion. I went in cloaked and slow boated up to the web tower, uncloaked, activated tank, targetted the tower and destroyed it, before warping out. I came back in again taking out my targets one at a time like that. It's not the fastest way of doing it, but it can be done. Once you've got rid of the towers and the frigs doing this, you can usually kite the rest. Obviously it's a lot harder if you get de-cloaked on warp-in.

This is problematic. If you land 50km from a pair of web towers (which appears to be pretty typical game design, for better or for worse) you're in trouble. I'm already wary of the ~300 DPS my fit could push at that range. You're getting... 40 DPS at 50km. And going 50m/second.

You also manged to make the build even more expensive (but yeah, I'd also realistically use the A-type over the B-type I listed because I just can't sell the things as fast as I pull them in).

Yeah, that Low DPS and Web Towers sucks..
Uhh, will have to play with some implants, maybe there is a way:)
