Yeah, this. Firefly was better than Star Trek and would have been better than Star Wars if SW didn't have light sabers and the force.

That's not saying that much, actually, since Star Trek is the most overrated science fiction drama ever. I'm not being nostalgic, though. I only watched Firefly a couple of years ago for the first time and was immediately hooked and outraged that it was canceled after only one season.

well micky ...I watched the 1st two episodes ...and even though I`d pork the bird in the show that was in V it didn't really ring any bells for me alas .

I can see why fox pulled the plug on it........... cowboys in space ... not my bag

Well you can't win everybody over. It's one of my favorites exactly because of the fact that it mixes western with sci-fi. Or as they put it, in a universe where they have big galactic ships and huge events going on this show focuses on the little guy who is struggling just to make a living.

It is late, but for some idiotic laughs. It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, is over the top. That being said, if you can not stand Seinfeld or The Larry David Show this may not be the show for you.
