Today I participated in another live event, taking place in caldari space.
After the event was over and a few ships had been destroyed, I looked at my kill log to see if these kills registered. They did not.
This made me wonder, what statistic, or any other thing in the game, exists as proof that 'I was there'?
Some kind of memorabilia, or even a number, that would remind me 4 years from now that I had been at this event, that I took part, would be a nice thing to have.

Apart from the discussion of what kind of memorabilia this could be, or how this can technically be achieved, I was wondering if other players are also interested in something like this.

Only the people who got the final blow get the kill on their combat log. However a few have been nice enough to post their killmails. If you go to http://eve-kill.net and http://eve.battleclinic.com/.

I don't know if this is what your looking for. It would be nice to have an easy way to look at km's that your on without needing to find a killboard they've been posted to.

We are awaiting the battle of Caldari Prime ribbons however they end up doing those. But only the very large scale ones. Not every event will (or should) be of that kind of scale.

Write a blog post about it
Take a screenshot and make a tumblr diary of your journey through live events
Record yourself while playing and share those videos with the community (paging DeLoneWolf)
Get a tattoo depicting your characters story as influenced by events (expensive, also finite resource)
Every time you finish a live event, carve a notch into your monitor (this is probably the least advised)
