Why hasnt this been released by now? Isnt 90 pages of support not enough incentive yet? Make it oddysee 1.10 already P

They will most likely be working on it. One of the key reasons the specifications for the game is being updated is so there is a possibility for better graphics in the future so it may be possible they are looking at releasing these textures at some point. Still, Odyssey is still in it's early stages. Let the bug fixes roll out and then ask where it is (and blame CCP for not releasing it yet Lol)

Do you want a cynic's perspective?

I'd say that they are weighing the volume of player interest in new shiney graphics vs. the criticims over the jump animation camera swing + halt. The ratio of the people who post on this thread / the people who post on the other gives ccp a rough measure of how seriously to take the other issue.

The results: everyone wants new shiney. And only some people want old stuff fixed. No surprise, really.

That said, a BIG +1 for the high-res textures. Big smile That would be truly awsome.

Once again---
Please add this as a DLC, maybe, or a patch.

CCP's sand box is EVE Online.  The sand is owned by CCP.  We pay them a monthly fee to throw the sand at each other.  That is all that is here, so move along. Nothing more to be seen.

We have the tecnology !! Use it and give us a downloadable texture pack.
If you already hace them anyways, why do you even have to think about it ?
