can't accept buddy invite; 500 error

Hey everyone, I just had my buddy invite email sent to me but when I click the link the first odd thing I notice is a pink banner error saying that the CD key I used is invalid or already used?
NOTE: I had it sent to a new email that I wished to use for a second account, that has nothing to do with this one.

So I find it a bit odd that; for one, I wasn't using any CD key, and two, fresh email gets an error attempting to create a new account. Anyway, the 'create your account' option is there in bright green and I click on it and get directed here:

500 Error
An unexpected error occurred

An unexpected error has occurred, please try pressing your browsers back button and try again. If the problem persists, please contact support. (ref: W2JuO7Nfb8RZh4+HJSADuQ)

I wondered if it was an issue with the buddy program and hovered over to Game Time>Get Free Trial which takes me to a page asking for my country of origin. I select the appropriate country and hit confirm, also takes me to the 500 Error.

Just below the confirm button is a 'log in to manage your account' username and password field. But how can I log in when I can't even create a new account in the first place?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Are you using the chrome browser, if not, the plus side is i think you have answered my post just below yours, it is likely that account management is down as we seem to be having the same issue...

Explorer actually, and couldn't access it from my phone either, hopefully it is as simple as downtime.

Actually, I just got through that step on my phone using safari. Not sure what the deal was but it works now, try it
