I'm terrified that my post in the main thread being buried on the 20th page no one will read it so I'm posting this here because its important.

If you make the BPOs for fuel blocks produce a larger amount of blocks then you can scale it to allow for fuel discounts.

The BPO should produce 400 blocks that are 0.5 m3 each for the same material costs per batch.

Large = 400/hr
Blood Large = 340/hr (15%)
Dark Blood Large = 300/hr (25%)

Medium = 200/hr
Small = 100/hr (because this number is divisible by 100 you can do 1% increments on discounts on all sizes)

This will allow you to continue giving Faction tower discounts and sov discounts. Keep the fuel bays all the same size. If you implement it this way you break absolutely nothing except forcing everyone to run at max PG and CPU. Which lets face it only matters to highsec towers.

My original post in the main thread for reference.

1. you mean there are towers that DON'T run at max capacity 24/7?

2. this does seem to be a workable proposal.

One of the bitter points of a good bittervet is the realisation that all those SP don't really do much, and that the newbie is having much more fun with what little he has. - Tippia

In highsec the only way to attack a tower is to wardec the corp running it. By default you have 24 hours notice before they can shoot. Most people in highsec turn all the guns off until they see the wardec.

My industrial alts tower runs max CPU and about 25% PG. Saves a good bit of money when you consider the large faction tower has been up for 2+ years and I've only been wardeced once.

Your out-of-corp alt, I would like to point out Pirate

I completely agree with the idea for the larger amounts of blocks at smaller sizes. Why should we have to lose the fuel advantage for faction towers over this? I see no reason why it should be a collateral effect of the (great) fuel blocks proposal.

This is not the proper location for that feedback, try the official feedback thread instead.

Did you actually read my post? No. Cause if you did you would have seen I linked to my post in the official thread.

I'm aware this isn't the ideal way to deal with this but I am not going to leave this issue to the whims of a 20+ page thread-naught to solve. I and probably a heck of allot of other people consider a 20-40% raise in our POS fuel costs to be a major issue. One that deserves its own thread away from the pile of crazy posts in that official response thread.

So please mister forum Nazi put away your jack boots. I'm pretty sure the devs are quite capable of telling me themselves if they don't like my thread.
