POS + BPO continual research?

So I have installed several BPO's from my home station to my POS in same system, great, happy about this as it was a long term goal.

after about an hour the research ended and I had to restart ME research over again, for another hour.

Is there a way to leave them researching until I want to pull them out of the lab?

Thanks, very new to this and anyone with good wiki type info on the use of POS would be much appreciated.

Change the value after M.L. + to something bigger than 1. You can put 30 days worth in 1 go(with a minimum of 1 level), but it's all or nothing; if you cancel it, it was all for nothing.

Ah, ok then, was about to fumble with that value, now I know what it is.

Thanks much!

You shouldnt have any bpos EVER in ur POS. They should be left in npc station for safety. Thats what scientific networking is for.

When doing ME & PE research, the value you punch into the dialog is ADDITIVE to the current level of your BPO. If your BPO has ME 15 already, and you want to get it to 20, enter the value "5" in the dialog (15 + new 5 = 20 total when completed). Just watch for the max time of 30 days on researching a BPO. Too high a value and you can't do research on it without reducing the additive value.

An ME of 7 is about all you'll never need. It seems to me that you're asking the wrong question.....

This is greatly dependent on what BPO your researching and what you intend to do with it. I would suggest that you search google for the BPO you are researching for a more correct ME number. It is certainly a waste to research every BPO you have to say 100. Some you will never get there (capital ships for example).

Easiest way to see where a good balance point for your BPO's ME and PL:

Fill in your industry, your production efficiency, then move the sliders for ME and PL. Watch the ISK/HR change appropriately.
