This is the lounge for those Sneetches with stars upon thars.

I have it on good authority that the star bellied sneetches indeed are the best on the beaches.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

I am informed many stars are also preyed upon and hide from crumple horned snorkacks.

This lounge is for Sneetches with stars
But those speaking here have none upon thars
We star-bellied Sneetches turn up our nose
To plain-bellied sorts, or any of those
Who upon their bellies are blank, no stars upon thars

Hello? Hello?
I cannot hear your call.
I cannot hear your call at all.
This is no good, and I know why.

With my snoot in the air, I give out a snort
While I walk with a flair, I keep my gaze short
Of the plain-bellies there, the less awesome sort

Tollen and I, we are not mean
With our bellies of red, like our siblings in green
It is the rest of you who deserve what's upon you
For you chose to be born with no star placed on you

I have an alt with a star, I think
But all he does is drink, drink, drink
He might try to get from thar to me
And contract me that red star tee
But there are pirates who like to jink and stink and plink in a wink.
So...
I think my alt might get a drink misthink jink stink fink wink plink.

Ah, but where is Sylvester McMonkey McBean?

With his snarky remarks and star-off machine?

Star-on machine, I believe you mean
For if Sylvester McMonkey McBean
Should arrive in this lounge one day
And show us his machinery which may
Change the state of stars we carry
We should all choose the best; the red, the green

Say! Look at me!
Do you see a star upon me?
Yes, I have a star
Got it from a schnockered Minmatar.

Your star may be red but it is also fake
For what would be said if you take a stake
And drive it into your star and make
Blood flow forth, it would reveal

That your star was placed on you today
You have not had it long
Unlike mine, I was born this way
I had mine all along

For so I should take upon my body a stake

If mine flow red, my star is real

Bump.
I would like to see some more stars
or even more with none upon thars
Bump.
Fear not, inferior folk, for here you are and shall be
Treated rightfully, not mistreated, you are safe as can be

Bump.
Together we can all live in harmony
Together we can grow
Here we may talk and play with glee
And share ourselves and grow

Bump.
Perhaps we can learn to look past inequalities
For though you are less, you are yet something
So please join me here, let's share stories
Open your heart and mind, forgive me for bumping

Bump.

I heard a bump.
Perhaps a bump by the wump of Gump?
Perhaps a bump of a rump on Gump's wump?

So cute, my childhood stories are made from local folklore (Page 33) humanoid tigers and rabbits that kept moving all the time to avoid being eaten or outsmarted.

We also had a plethora of local figures that were able to con the Devil himself using wits over technical know how and insects that helped each other in times of need because we all were going to suffer at least several times in our life.

To top it off, our local rhymes were more in tune with several nature spirits or their most worthy aspects, since the cult to said spirits still thrives and keeps going strong.

Fact is, I am shocked at seeing the vast cultural differences in growing up between countries.

Dont want to derail the thread, just pointing out how this made me analyze parts of my life.

From that book this brought me into alert mode when compared to basic tenets off Dr. Seuss

Specially the deep rooted need most of us have to see the powerful punished, the abhorrence of pure power and the praise of cleverness and deceit, explains so much, and how money is viewed by us.

Anyway ...

Keep on going! I too like Dr. Seuss Big smile

Interesting, Brujo. Ever heard of the Brer Rabbit folk tales of the southern U.S.? The rabbit is a trickster who usually makes a fool of the fox, who is always more powerful, and sometimes more wealthy. Brer Rabbit sounds kind of similar to Uncle Rabbit in the Venezuelan stories. I always heard that the Brer Rabbit stories were brought from West Africa during slavery times, but wikipedia says they may have come from U.S. Native Americans (Creek or Cherokee tribes).

Tio Conejo and Brer Rabbit seem like fun chaps
I think I might make a habit of reading their stories
I wish the world could act like these Gentlemen of fur and insufferance
Take their lessons with more ease and demonstrate them more please

Considering the similarity, they could be a local native thread of mythos, or from Africa, or both!.

Very interesting indeed, will look up with my google fu more about this Brer Rabbit fellow ... Big smile
