How do I unsubscribe from the auto pay?

My two accounts are on credit card auto pay.

Going to the account management page I cannot find ANYWHERE to remove my credit card so I can stop paying for this game and unsubscribe.

Two years in is enough.

Technically, there isn't a way to stop CCP from charging your card. Back in June I "deactivated" my account. Later I checked the status of my account in account management and found that "Account type" was inactive" and my "Current subscription" was schedule to make a payment with my CC in a few days. I petitioned to have my credit details removed. Now my status is "Account Type Active - Paying with CreditCard" and " Current Subscription Labor Day New Signup Offer - Cancelled". So, I don't know. You tell me.

There doesn't seem to be anyway to remove one's CC details. Nor is there a way to definitively stop CCP from charging it unless you use Plex. But I would assume that once you stop using Plex that you're going to be charged for your account subscription.

I suppose if you edited your account information with erroneous information that it might throw a wrench in the billing process, IDK.

Yes, I understand where it is. But it doesn't change the fact that no matter what you do your credit card will always have a scheduled payment.

Just call the Bank (or card company) and have them blocked if it keeps charging. I had to do that for a couple MMO games over the last couple years.

No, it is not. There is just the option to buy MORE, not stop buying it altogether.

It is there until you deactivate your account. And then it goes away. But, you will still have a scheduled payment.

If you're in the EU then to be safe send an email to support@eveonline.com and copy it to postmaster@eveonline.com. The postmaster address is an address domains should maintain, so delivery to both shows you've done all you can.

In the email state that you have cancelled your account and you have withdrawn your continuous payment authority for CCP to charge your card.

Take screenshots of the "Cancelled" status too.

Should they charge the card subsequently they have committed fraud (good luck getting plod to do anything) and you can insist on an immediate chargeback from your CC provider. The CC provider will say you need to sort it out with the vendor - the fact you have emailed them means you can say you've tried and get it sorted there and then. Screenshots will help to "prove" when you cancelled.

This is one of the reasons you should permanently archive ALL email which involves legal issues.

I don't think its an accident that CCP have made the account pages so ambiguous. I wish I did but not anymore Straight

I've stopped 2 accounts in that time. It's the 'Unsubscribe' option. Anyone telling you they did this and they're still getting charged is either lying to jump on the "CCP is greedy!" bandwagon, or just did't do it right. Not really that hard, click the link, then click the confirmation.

And before someone tries to add me to the 'jumping ship' list, I've reactivated.

step 1 phone credit card company and ask to have payments to ccp stopped

step 2 await remaining sub time to expire

step 3 enjoy real life again

Everytime you buy something that says "made in china" you are helping the rising unemployment in your own country unless you are from china, Buy locally produced goods and help create more jobs.

I figured it out.

As soon as you get to the account management page select the GAME TIME drop down menu and there is the unsubscribe option.

Once you navigate anywhere in the account managment area the UNSUBSCRIBE option vanishes.

Unsubbed both my accounts. Wish I could get my time and money back. All of it.
