I don't make guides because I can link a guide to almost anything in EVE that is much higher quality than I could produce.

I told everyone how it worked. You take out x person, and you get whatever the value of what is destroyed (giving their bounty covers it). I also explained how we use to have the ability to get the full amount, and by changing that it broke the bounty system for bounty hunters. I didn't get into too much detail into this because that system is long gone.


Now here is the thing. You obviously haven't trolled all the threads you go too, but you are a troll. The reason why I know this is because your recent post history. Most of your post doesn't add anything to the convo or it's a complete lie. On top of that, you seem to go between general and Q&A only.

I am not replying back to any more of your comments unless if you start telling the truth, and start adding useful info in the thread.

You're somewhat right. But, some of it is out of date giving the recent updates. Also, people are still having a hard time finding anything (including his videos). A fix to do is fixing the SEO side of the videos. But, I can't control his videos.


After I get a few more videos up, I'm going to work on the SEO side of my videos. That away it's easier for people to find what they are looking for in 1 search almost anywhere.

Please for the love of what is holy explain how your brain came up with the stupid idea that the old bount system wasnt broken and the new one is. Getting paid based on what you kill is broken and having collected a lot of bounty and then pod kill yourself with an alt isn't. You must be a joke.

I have watched a couple of your videos. And just searching youtube will find you more videos of greater quality (both in video/audio as welk as in game knowledge).

I never said the bounty system wasn't broken before. In the video I was pointing out there really is no more bounty hunters any more because the bounty system is now broken for them. I also pointed out I'm not making a history lesson in my current guides. There is no point.

Anyways, of course other videos on YouTube is going to be better. I never said mine was the best. Hell, real big time film studios has YouTube videos. I doubt anyone can really be compared to that.
So my question about the quality thing is the following. And?

This shows how LITTLE you know about EVE. There are actually more bounty hunters than in the previous system as back then claiming a bounty was nearly impossible.

I'm tired of the bashing. I'm not going to give in to any of the bashing any more, because the people who are bashing me never done 2 things.
1. made a serious video and posted anywhere on the net. This doesn't mean grab your phone and talk. This means sit there, add music, edit the video, and so on.

2. they obviously never shown any evidence that they tried to help a massive amount of new players. If you help out noobs in game, so what. It's a small fix.
But when you try to go above and beyond with making videos, then of course small mistakes will be pointed out. However, trolls/haters seem to enjoy it when you screw up.


So try to help, or shut up. CCP is obviously not closing it's doors any time soon. So your wish of all the new players going away and CCP going bankrupt most likely won't happen.

However, if you have a legit way of letting me know a mistake I have (not trying to put me down), then go ahead and I will gladly comment back. Also, if you have a legit question, then please feel free to ask.

Oh hell that last one is a gem: 8.40 He knows for a fact there is CONCORD in some low sec systems.

11.40 spins the map and thinks a PoS is the only player owned station type in null and can't find an example of an null sec outpost station (probably doesn't know what that is)...but wait for the next video he has a bookmark for a PoS!

13.35 If you have a password you can steal stuff from a PoS...wrong. Proper theft is not common from them...wrong

16.00 If you are in Faction warfare and enter a rival factions space the NPC navy won't shoot you down only other players...wrong...

23.40 Use a "prefer low sec" route if you have bad faction standings because that's safer than traveling high sec with the navy NPCs...holy chit..nooooo

26.00 Auto-pilot is only good in a super big ship and in NULL SEC....whoooo is this a joke video?

26.30 Auto-pilot will land you about 100meters from a gate...have you played this game yet?

It IS the worst possible advice you can take. The videos are FULL of errors made by someone who has NO clue what he is talking about.

J'Poll is my main. And it has been helping new players for the last 2 years...both in game and on the forums

Please new players, look at the posts above made by Minmatar Citizen, a well respected new player helper.

He shows out just a couple of major errors in just this single video.

At work and haven't heard the videos yet, but... OP, I have a Samson USB mic about like this one. Combined with your PC's decent sound card, it records great. Definitely enough sound quality for blogging and such. Paid about 50 bucks U.S. on ebay.

I'm helping by spending some time qualifying your videos as helpful to new players....you failed...badly. They are a mess and the errata on that travel video would be longer than the original piece.

I have a legit question. What makes you think you are qualified to make a rookie video when you don't know how simple things like auto-pilot work?

Hi Craig,

Whilst we truly appreciate the enthusiasm and effort that have gone into this, we have to concur that there are a few factual mistakes in the videos, and we're very sensitive to the fact that getting started in EVE is tough, we would like our new citizens to be advised as fully as possible; Especially in areas as important as the Bounty system.

If I may offer a perspective here (unofficially of course) perhaps it would be better for you guys to work out how to better improve these videos and make new ones, rather then lambast this guy for at least making the attempt.

We would welcome some good quality videos; those of us who moderate these rookie forums would be especially interested.

Let me know what you come up with, but in the mean time, I'm sorry but I do have to lock this particular thread, partly because of the inconsistent detail and partly because it's been derailed and it's not the sort of thing we need here!

Good luck in the future, I look forward to seeing what you come up with!
