Lord Industries is a corp founded by and intended primarily for newer players who are interested in promoting and implementing their personal vision of how a corp should work. All current members are relatively new to eve. We are bound by a common philosophy of fearless experimentation, a willingness to take risks, and a desire to learn from our experiences and pass the knowledge we gain to our corp mates.

Lord Industries is built upon a fundamental ideal of open minds, humor, and an inborn resistance to being taught "the right way" to do something. Human history is full of examples of false notions being accepted as fact. The earth is flat, flight is impossible, etc. There is no reason to believe that what is considered to be common knowledge or accepted fact among eve players is absolute truth. Our hope is that this approach will enable us to find methods of thriving within eve that have not yet been exhausted, and perhaps not even been attempted or discovered.

There are surely many players, rookie and veteran alike, who posses their own "vision" of how a corp or a particular aspect of a corp should be run. These are the ideal applicants to our corp, especially so if they are willing to help others implement their own ideas by participating in them as much as possible. Our members are encouraged to experiment with as many different aspects of the game as they would like. We try not to focus on one play style or another but to instead provide an opportunity for players to experience several facets of the game, possibly within the same day or even hour.

We have members who run missions, mine. manufacture, and make trades. We encourage our members to be nice to the neighbors and we generally do not issue wardecs. We will be venturing into low sec and possible null in the future, This will allow for the occasional pvp experience for those who are interested, and pvp opportunities will likely increase with time as we do more things in low-sec and wormholes. At this time we would most likely not suit a player who strictly wants pvp play, but pvp players who would like to contribute to the ideas of the corp and will not mind the sleepy periods would be ideal, assuming that they have some other activity or operation that they can focus on this should not be an issue

We have NO mandatory operations. All activities are optional, and it is the up to the organizer of the activity or event to provide incentive to other members to participate. Our only real requirement for membership is that you have a laugh and help eachother. We have a Comms that members are encouraged but not required to use. We also feature a end of month member bonus payout system, this will be from corp profits and will increase the more we all work.
