Another Jita Thread - Seeding a new main trade hub

It doesn't take a lot of looking on the forums to see people bitching about the Jita problems. I get it, sitting on the Perimeter gate can suck some nights, especially when waiting more than 20 mins just to jump into system. A solution to the traffic can't be solved by nagging and bickering, so why not take action and make a new trade hub?

To some Jita nuts, this is blasphemy. I get it, 4-4 has been your home for so long, but its time to move out. The neighbors are too noisy and the house is too small. Amarr won't take you in, Dodixie is too much like San Francisco and Rens will fall apart if another freighter docks this week (unless its a freighter of duct tape). Hek doesn't count as a trade hub, its where we go to rip people off.

So post in, if or if not you think a new hub would ease the congestion in Jita and move the problem for a while until the mice have had their rest and can get back on their wheels to power the servers. Also post in if you're cool, sexy or can type one letter after another.

Jita is a player made phenomenon as are all the trade hubs.

The only way to change Jita is to convince CCP to alter the jumpgate network to make it a less favourable location for trade but that will only give raise to another Jita like system eventually.

I love you for not kissing Chribba's ass and having your own opinion. With the Forge being so far north and low sec routes limited surely there is a better place for "New Jita"?

Happened before and it will happen again. Yulai became Jita.

I say CCP lowers the max amount in Jita even further, just to see how long people will put up with it.
You keep that up long enough and people will start to move to different systems for their trading.

it might surprise the OP but jita isn't the only place to sell things en-masse.. in fact last i check 99.5% of all eve NPC space has stations thus markets...

The fact you want to sell in jita is the problem, not jita itself.. heck even on the busiest night it has not taken more than 30secs to get into jita

so OP look outside. and dont think that other systems your wares will sell slowly i sell at a higher price and as quick in amarr and other regions as i would in jita having to baby sit orders because of the volume of sellers

Seriously, you don't have to use Jita. There are three other perfectly fine trade hubs availible.

this is not a CCP created problem.

I'm guessing that the smarter, more intelligent traders have already relocated, and are now busily manipulating prices in other regions.
