Too many skillpoints

Hi.

Im currently enjoying a 6 week holiday and dont have access to EvE a set one of those annoyingly long skills that would begood to have but that I never trained cus I had better things to train.

Anyway it was going to take 35 days yeahyeah I dont use jump clones or implants so I have long skill times but I just check here on my account and I have 35 million more skillpoints and my 35 day training finishes tomorrow but its only been a week since I left.

2 days ago I had an extra 20 million, just a weird forum bug?

I don't think punctuation would help, to be honest.

Maybe it's just because I'm tired, but I don't have a clue what was meant by that confusing mess of words.

yeah my apologies, im using an pretty ancient satallite phone. Takes 5 seconds from when I type to when the char appears on screen so typing blind.

Also wtf is wrong with previous posters if you know whats going on with the training why not just be mature and say instead of the childish crap. Thanks.

Sigh, ship skill changes mean everyone with certain skills trained up got more SP. You should have only gotten about 6m though.

Maybe not trying to post with a sat phone would be better. Or some sort of proofreading? Whats wrong with previous posters can be linked to the OP, which reads like someone with Dain Bramage.

I am currently enjoying a 6 week holiday, during which I do not have access to EVE. Before leaving, I set my skill queue up with a very long skill — you know the type, will be valuable to have but normally takes far too long to train, mostly because I have no jump clones, which means no implants so of course my training times are far longer than they otherwise would be.

So anyway, I just logged on to character profile via the EVE Gate which my satellite phone can access, and I seem to have about 10M more SP than I was expecting. Is this just a weird display bug in EVE Gate?

Hi Infinity Ziona!

As per the rebalancing devblog, the existing "Destroyers" and "Battlecruisers" skills were split into four racial variants, those being Amarr/Caldari/Gallente/Minmatar flavours. As a result, if you were able to pilot Amarr destroyers (I.e.: Amarr Frigate 3, Destroyers N) you were awarded the racial flavour Destroyers skill at the same level.

Some people can fly anything, so those of us able to fly all four racial destroyers and Battlecruisers ended up with eight skills replacing the original two. The difference in SP value between the old skill set and the new skill set is 6.5M SP for most people. So this is where your extra SP came from! Not a bug, just a free gift from CCP aimed at driving up clone replacement revenue!

Ok, firstly, this has been a known issue for a very long time. You really ought to read the patch announcements.

That said:

They put out a new xpac. It included skill changes. Those changes gave you a buttload more skillpoints if you had Battlecruisers or Destroyers.

That's it.

You could always biomass and rage-quit again if you are unhappy with the increase in skill points.

Yeah lol except its 35 million skillpoints up and my 35 day queue jumped from 27 to 1 day overnight. I know about the 6 but thank you for the polite reply.
