Proposal: Allow OH for Miners [ICE!]

Now that ice mining is becoming an active and competative field, I would love to see the various froms of Strip Mining turret and Ice Harvesting turret be allowed a normal overheat mechanic which would serve to speed their cycle time.
This would allow math fiends to calculate whether it would be more efficient (time,cost,w/e) to OH mine, pause/repair, repeat or simply mine. It would also allow astute buttan clickers the ability to snag that one last ice cube off the field before the belt respawn. We're a bored lot, we could use some enteratinemnt.
Thats my day1 thought.

Think of all the miners who overheat their lasers, planning to stop overheating just before they burn out. Think of how many will leave them overheated for one cycle too many.

The tears will be delicious.

They've reduced the time to Ice Mine by 50%...I just don't think this is needed right now until we see what the effects of Odyssey changes are on Ice Belts\Sites.

Then while the Orca is on grid, he would carry a massive supply of ice harvesters so when the lasers burn out, the person just uses the orca to refit fresh ice harvesters.

One of 2 things would happen
1. Overheating just wouldn't be worth doing because it would cost more isk to repair it vs the increase in productivity (except maybe to try to snipe the last ice block)
2. Overheating would be too strong and the people who solo play/just starting out without orca support would be at a an even larger disadvantage then they are now without boosts.

Lowering the average to make you look better since 2012.

3 - Lots of tears as the Orca is bumped out of range after the nearly broken strip miner is removed, but before the fresh one is put in place.

Besides, if they overheat their ice miners, the ice would melt!

I like the idea. I also think the Miners should burn out after 1 cycle of overheating :3

My Condor costs less than that module!
