API not working??

OK this has most likely been asked but wtf is up with the api?

For the past month or two now i cant get any connection to any of my accounts on evemon. (new install) Or anything else for that matter,

Anyone got any info or a link to whats up with it,

I would check to see if your IP has been blocked by the API. There are two ways you can do this.

1. Hover over the "x" of one of the lines in Evemon where it has an error and see what it says.

2. Try this link from a browser and see what it returns:
https://api.eveonline.com/server/ServerStatus.xml.aspx/

(I feel the second option may not be very helpful as they might not block this request while blocking others; I'm not sure.)

clicking that link gives some info on the eve server


in Evemon its telling me the id or verification code is wrong.

This is really frustrating

there is also no "X" in the Failure notice to see what it says

Last time something similar to that happened to me was ages ago but I remember I had to update my API and update my program.

ive tried updating api on several occasions. ive been getting this error on eve sheet also but i taught it was teh site, only now ive noticed on the apps i use.

but i do no that with saved api like in EFT i can import with no issues.

i may submit a petition and see what they say.

If you are using the progams all within 15 mins of time it may be a block flood issue requesting your api info that often in so little time. Besides all that i'd have to bump no clue.

Not all that quick, it was only 1 at a time i tried.

thanks anyhow Seniae, Ive submitted a Petition under API so im sure they will help me sort it once they get to me.
