*8 struts in and plops down next to Kirjava, and starts running her fingers through his hair

*7 sees 8's hindquarters slung over Kirjava's shoulder and looks away to stare off into space...

(meta: indeed, some of it have gone quite out of control. I must admit that it has become too much for my taste. Miz is and will stay straight, but so far, none of the men has given it a shot)

"Report contacts, hail the distressed vessels, standby overload all skirmish modules" Kerensky replied quickly.

There was a pause as the bridge crew went about their jobs but realized there was no possibility of following the sky marshal's orders. Being booted into the ship Kerensky simultaniously realized something was very wrong.

"Tactical, am I seeing this right?" Kerensky looked puzzled.

"Sir, theres nothing here, just debris" came the confused response from the ship's operations officer.

"Are we too late?"

"No sir, this debris is old, this has been here, scans show signs of solar damage and particle dispersion from multilple small impacts."

"What the hell is going on here?" Kerensky stood, the connectors to his spine disengaging as he walked towards the holoscreen. "Condition alpha, all hands prepare for contact. Something isnt right." The kalxons blared again and the lights dimmed, crimson flashes eminating from the status indicator lights.

"Sir I've got something, its in one of the wrecks." The ops officer sounded startled and hesitated, "sir its a signal beacon, it appears to have broadcast emissions and subspace frequences, what we detected had already happened, this was-"

"A trap," Kainos interupted "Bring us about, helm new course bearing-"

"Sir! Contacts, multiple contacts decloaking off the port side" the operations officer interjected quickly.

"New course bearing 420 mark 575 full impulse prepare to warp" Kainos exclaimed quickly and ressumed his seat, the augmentations re-attaching him to the command chair.

"Tactical analysis complete, two Jovian battlecruisers, Gnosis class, one Falcon recon vessel, three Nemesis class bombers, and four immolator class fighters, unknown alliegance, attempting hailing frequencies." The operations officer paused for a split second before adding, "They've locked us, we're being interdicted, warp drive operation disrupted, incomming torpedoes!"

"All stations brace for impact!" Kainos's hands blured across his holo controls and the ship reacted instantly turning into the hostile entities. The Infallible Justice's engines flared to life, her microwarpdrive engaged. "Ready cyno field, target the two closest bombers and split stasis webifiers on them, single stack guns, overload two volleys on the first locked bomber." Kainos had a look of steal upon his face as the crew sent out subspace transmissions to the SOTR fleet and complied instantly with the battle commands. Kainos inhaled deeply and calmly remarked; "Per bellum immortali..."

*waves with arms and hocks while being carried away by the "shoulder to go" service*

“Activate drones and point defense systems! Concentrate on missiles heading for the Aurora first and switch main guns onto those warships!”

*Zoe takes a brief note on the scan analysis of the attacking ships. They are a mixed group consisting of mainly amarrian ships but also some caldarie and even minmatar. “IMPACT!!” In this moment, several incoming missiles hit the Atlantia’s shields, shaking the interiour roughly. The years in a pod had made Zoe to forget about these physical consequences of ship to ship combat and her hip makes a very uncomfortable contact with the tactical table, while several bridge systems overload and spraying sparks.*

“(…)…f…Focus on those bloody ravens first! We need to lower the attackers long range damage capabilities!”

*throughout the Atlantia’s hull several covers open up revealing multiple 30mm micro guns immediately opening their rapid fire supported by mobilized drones onto the now circling frigates and incoming warheads, taking them out one by one*

“Sir! The Aurora starts her afterburners and gets on a getaway course. The ships marker lights are starting to blink in a strange…wait, it’s morse! Hang on,…

---xo and most of bridge crew dead---commander is trapped in malfunctioning pod, live signs falling/ressurection functions disabled---following standard protocol for deep-space defense---awaiting further orders---

*Zoe tries not to let this report come close to her, since she’s alive at least…somehow…but there’s again that striking uncomfortable ache in her stomach*

“Align behind Aurora! Full speed! And get those tackling blowflies down! Warp drive status?”

“Still compromised, engineering needs more time!”

Kirjava finally reaches the corridors outside TGFB. Gravitation still seems working here and a large crowd of people stands near TGFB's entry. Suddenly one of the crowd members turns and makes AAAAAHHHHHHHHAAAHAHAAHAAAHAAAA
