When the server was up and in VIP mode, the 'update' would have been downloaded via the patcher if the process were completed.

Because the server was just up and the game didn't patch?

See this is what happens when you try to fix things that were not broken in the first place. Seems like all this happened once Logging in went to the Launcher VS the Client.

Here's an idea. Keep the servers down a few more hours. Roll out the newest update one day prematurely. Use Torrent to deliver the update.

I really just need to log in for 2 minutes to update my skill queue. 4 hours to go before my skill finishes.

I do agree thought that it would be best not to deploy odyssey tomorrow but delay it a week.Just so that people who have not been able to log in have some more time to do so.Otherwise the ''WHEEEELP i lost a few SP , damn you CCP'' cries will only become bigger.


While i think we do deserve a compensation for the lost day ( I agree it was not CCP's fault, but neither was ours, and we are the ones paying for this game ). I would much rather go with a +1 day in subscriptions than free SPs. I absolutely agree with postponing the patch because I bought a char and I was supposed to inject and train the last 2 cruisers to level 3 before the patch - now I wont be able to, and I will lose the corresponding BC5 skills.
