You should be wary of what people promise in this game. For example. The standard bonus for a new player signup is over 200 million isk for the new player. If he gave you 7 mill isk and a few frigates then he fell way short of the mark.

Let that be your first Eve lesson. Double check everything sombody tells you. Welcome to EVE.

yep he gets a plex for sucessfuly recruiting a new player to the game. last time i looked a plex could be sold for around 500 million so he made quite a bit compared to the 7 he gave you

That is if he used the PLEX as a reward.

Maybe he choose to add 30 days to his game time. So he indirectly made money because he got a month of free game.

But I do agree. You got ripped off because there are way better offeres in the sticky.

Though I prefer the 7 mil over the 200mil ISk handout to new players. It sdoesn't spoil them.
And to be completely honost, I just think this is a covert buddy invite offer made by an alt.
