UK here, been on for around 2 1/2 hours, no problems except for launcher been in russki.

USA Oregon western coast area launcher in Rushen seems to launch properly version 2.1.545736 exe also working English win 7

dam hate to be one of your network engineers tonight thought i would post something nice with all the hate so...

thank you ccp for all your hard work would send a coffee pot if i had a teleporter lol :P tonight many will make there pay and then some peace and good luck (encase its needed)

a common problem for a lot of people over about 6/7 hours now... & most could not log in.. so you are doing well.. :)b CCP are working hard to remedy the issue..

Assuming it is well appreciated, although I must say that 'all the hate' is not that much at all:)

BTW: yesterday there was an extra reboot, for exactly the same reason (socket closed issues, disconnecting people and giving launcher problems), so they have been working at it for a long time now...

umm, well its html based, what could possibly go wrong.........

The language seems to be set to Russian so is it a config file?, a script that has compromised or has one been injected, what do the time stamps say, have we all just had our account names and passwords lifted?, is the Russian version loading to point finger at Russians by Americans or Chinese.

So many possibilites....

I never use the launcher, but noticed when i checked just now that it was in english, it then updated and stayed in english.

Some one cannot write a script that functions it seems, your wasting bandwidth because of it, and bandwidth is never free.

Launcher partly in Russian (connect button and information around it, the rest is in english). Managed to connect and everything seems to work just fine. However, single sign-on page (out of game one) is in Russian. Location is Croatia.

is there scheduled dt tonight ? ... i cant get ingame to see

i want to know if CCP are just carrying on like all is well and dandy

where is the update on wtf is going on ... ??

i have a char coming off training in 2 hours and a pos in a wh going without fuel before i can get back on tomorrow

I think everyone just needs to calm down. First quoting Helmar's Incarna apology and asking to scrap the new launcher is not productive and has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that their having server problems.

Secondly, yes EVE may be down right now and has been for several hours. Based on some of the replies here it seems like most don't know the amount of work that it takes to keep a cluster of EVE's size running 23/7. The fact that this is one of very few times the servers have been unexpectedly down should be an indicator that CCP knows what their doing.

So I, for one, want to say thank you CCP. For working all night and busting your butts to get this resolved. Don't mind the negative nancy trollers here.
