it caused me quite the inconvenience. I was in the middle of a long mission. since this is not the first, not the 2nd not the 3th unscheduled dt, im not sure if I shall accept your apologies. it became a habit of yours. why does this info is not posted in the information section? is this a general discussion? why don't you have a simple little server to post what is going on when all you lights go out, somewhere safe, so people can get informed?

im quite displeased obviously. I apologize for your inconvenience.

and last but not least unscheduled or not you shall display ingame warning if possible.

ah one more thing. don't hate the player hate the game

Just woke up, logged into EVE and only found out there had been a problem from the news post.

Well done to CCP for resolving a major network issue, happening at the worst time of the day for any support team.

I hope you all take a well deserved rest after a long night fixing issues.

There was a localisation issue and things were appearing in Russian I believe. Resolved now it seems. (Possibly related to the network issue?)

The problem does not seem to be resolved for some people as the main issue seemed to mess with some peoples settings...

Have they tried changing their Language settings if the client updated them incorrectly?
If the worst of the issues are a Russian login screen I think people should be smart enough to get through it.

BTW, USA is NOT the center of the universe, CCP is in Iceland, where it is almost noon now... Apart from the issue not being fixed nor resolved, you seem to have your own personal egocentricity issues:)

Sure, just push aside the disconnect issues with the socket closed thing, where 90% of the server population gets kicked... some while doing high risk trading, hauling or in middle of fight...

It is STILL in Russian here in NZ for me... client still keeps crashing too :(

I apologize for assuming the issues were resolved. I managed to log into the game without issues and happily carry out a few missions along with the rest of my corporation. And, I'm not from the USA, I'm from England. Just stayed up really really late. :P

If it continues look for a server error.. then look for the windows repair option..

still getting booted due to 'socket errors' here in oz so what a clusterfuck .... over 6hrs now and everything is still in russian as well and i tried everthing except reinstalling the game

now i know a bunch of people are now internet spaceshipping and playing without issue but i am not

nice to see the launcher trying to sell me stuff tho ... the adds still work ... but god help patchday methinks

Before you go and get your knickers in a super twist because you're unable to get your fix of internet spaceships I'd like to point something out. The issue happened at 03:06 UTC which for CCP, in Iceland, would have been hmm, oh, 03:06 UTC. It is now 10:11 UTC. That's a VERY long night of using the batphone and trying to resolve the issue.

The issue is not effecting everyone but it's still effecting some people. The issues seems to be effect those who are a long distance from the server which makes me think that an unstable or jittery connection is getting closed by the server. The issue WILL be resolved in time and CCP have ALWAYS been apologetic and compensated, to the best of their ability, for any losses or disruptions happening during times of trouble.

You're very much Mr. Assumptions aren't you.
