Parts of launcher suddenly in Russian

Parts of launcher are suddenly in Russian eventough English is selected as a language. Naturally I'm reluctant to use it to log in. Is this normal?

Same problem here. Language is set to 'English' though.

Same problem. But, there is no impact to log on.
It's just really strange.

Apparently it's a common problem. There are a bunch of threads on it in Issues, Workarounds & Localization. No official word though.


On a different note: I understand trolling can be fun at times, but sometimes, like here, it's just sad.
