Well Eve may be back up and running. But my launcher isn't. It reports that Eve is live with 21K+ in game, but then I get a load of Russian script but no launch button.

How is this in any way a hardware configuration problem? Read the posts dude.

With respect CCP, this has been said many times - get rid of this piece of crap launcher you have forced on us. We were perfectly happy with the old login screen. It wasn't broke so why in hell did you fiddle with it?!

LOL we all know in this world, that which isn't broke is the first thing to fix and save that which is broke for another day.

OP updated again.

Unfortunately there's no more news that I can give you guys right now, other than we're working as quickly and thoroughly as we can to pinpoint and resolve ongoing issues that some of you are still experiencing.

Heh. For what it's worth, you're doing great work here. I can't tell you enough how much I appreciate being able to just periodically check the original post of this thread and find out exactly what's happening. Instead of developing one of those dull headaches of frustration, I'm sipping hot cocoa and drafting evemails to be sent when things are back to normal again. Everyone waiting on responses from me should be thanking you as well. Blink

If I could, I'd upload coffee for you--properly done public/community relations requires copious amounts of caffeine, seemingly. I'm in Seattle, the epicenter of coffee snobbery, and well, I could hook you up with the good stuff. :P

Keep up the good work, and Boiglio is not able to log in from Seattle, WA, USA.

Ok time to get some feedback on the "Socket was closed" issue. Can now get to the game, but it drops my characters before bringing up the game. OS Win 8.

Just anything like "we know - working it - shutup for Chrissake." Anything would make happy :}

I took a shot in the dark because i was experiencing the same problem, but I restarted my computer... it updated WIN 8 and when i came back in and logged in regularly, it logged me in as it should.

A couple of people suggested this and it worked -- whether providence or software magic - Thanks for input

Shocked Coffee pot broken...

I understand, tough times.

Well, just woke up this morning to a slavic message on the launcher and no play button.

By the way, I do feel sorry for the new launcher, I really liked the old login screen.

Looking forward to June 4. I'm happy my training isn't finishing right now.
