Unscheduled downtime - Sunday, June 2nd, 2013

There's an issue being reported by some people that the Launcher may crash when you try to repair.

It's possibly (according to the information I have available) caused by a DLL that the launcher relies on that might have been damaged.

I'll edit this if I learn anything new.

I can't get rid of my darn signature!  Oh, wait....

No offense am usually nice and supportive of CCP but since you first two posts are fanboi you need to expect it. This after the other days downtime over a fail launcher they forced on us is not going to win you support - or them.

after 2 hours fighting with the browser to get logged on in the forms I have had 5 different error codes.

Error -7 when loading url https://login.eveonline.com/Account/LogOn?ReturnUrl=%2Foauth%2Fauthorize

this is the current error code I have received and the other ones I could not save.

I am tring to log in from Atlanta Ga, USA no success.
my brother in Savannah Ga, USA was able to log in all his accounts.

I have had much trouble with all EVEs websites loading and crashin aswell with all the different clients.

I hope this helps CCP.

Tried repairing launcher failed but automatically downloaded patch on restart still in russian but can log in now, c'mon freebiez Big smile

Win7: I ran a command prompt and entered ipconfig /flushdns to flush the dns cache.

Then connected thru launcher with no problem.

Language can be changed on the launcher, upper right.

Doubt it will help, but launcher crashes after I tried repairing.


The URLopen error is because one or more links that the Launcher connects to aren't functioning.

The DLL error is likely what's causing the crash -- if that's corrupted, you may need to do an entirely fresh install.

Whats werid is launchers working (Apart from being in Russian...)
And I've done the repair 3 times now and everytime the blocks come up missing. But yet launcher and game work everytime.

Logon screen still in Russian. Didn't go past that for obvious reasons. Also forum response time very very very slow.
