Used the EVE repair tool, it downloaded something, started the client and it updated, log on was in Russian but I was able to log in, playing currently,.

Ran the repair yet my client is still is Russian and so is the forum website when I logged in. All language options are selected "English"

I can log in, but after selecting a character on the character select screen, it sits on a black screen for a while, shows a pop up for unread eve mails, then pops up a "connection lost" dialog, with the options to restart or quit. So, I can't actually get into the game.

I've tried two different accounts, and tried launching the game from both the launcher and the bin/exefile, but get the same problem every time.

I could not log in so i downloaded the repair tool. The repair tool was not in my eve folder so i put it into C:\Program Files (x86)\CCP\EVE\ and ran it as admin. It updated some stuff. I closed it then went to the normal shortcut for the patcher and ran it. It loaded up but was in a language other then english. I changed the language settign several times but it did not fix the default/gray into of the login. I filled everything out and it brought up an TOS/agreement thing like a new install and ran the game. IT disconnected me durring the login but the connect button came up again, clicked that then i was in.

well i noticed problems eiler before the servers were taken down says socket closed restart eve had to restart computer

Ran the Eve Repair...One or two parts missing.


First Time~ launcher\icudt.dll, missing 152 out of 152 blocks




2nd Time~ URLError:urlopen error [Errno 100 13]

Doubt it will help, but launcher crashes after I tried repairing.

Also, I had to run repair.exe before the launcher would come out of Offline Mode. Funky stuff O_o

Log in through launcher. Get socket closed error.
Click connect at the bottom of the screen. Loads character selection. Everything then seems fine, but I'm not undocking till I'm sure.

I have an issue. My sign in is in Russian (I think).

I'm still unable to connect and the login screen were in Russian not English. I am from Hokkido, Japan.

The URLopen error is because one or more links that the Launcher connects to aren't functioning.

The DLL error is likely what's causing the crash -- if that's corrupted, you may need to do an entirely fresh install.

I can't get rid of my darn signature!  Oh, wait....
