Launcher = Bloatware = Single Point of Failure.


CCP - Please, please don't ever remove sign on functionality from the Exe file.

And this exactly the same stuff from 1 or two 2 weeks ago - NOTHING WAS FIXED CORRECTLY.

Im kind of curious on how you can be working on something. A tracert indicates trouble at a London ISP for me.

Firstly, if you have not got anything helpful to add, why add it.

Secondly for all of you begging for SP, so far the server has been out of service for the majority for what 2 hours, so with the greatest of respect so far the most SP you could have lost is 2 hours worth.

**** happens but until we know what the **** was, who created the **** and how long it will take to clean all the **** up, what is the fricking point in spamming this forum with bleeding heart sobs of how much you lost.

Seriously my heart does not bleed, those who have been with EVE for more than a few months learned to harden the **** up.

Most of us are able to accept that servers have blips, we do not cry our fricking eyes out and beg for compensation.


Deal with it..

Report any error messages, be constructive..

I personally hope CCP does not compensate for this downtime.

Thx for the folder heads up that worked.

Launched the EXEFILE.EXE from within the BIN folder

(C:\Program Files (x86)\CCP\EVE\bin\ExeFile.exe)

looks like a security trigger was blocking the client. I Entered an exception in my F/W so it works again but gonna make a shortcut to use the exefile instead.

Good to go

Not many folks in here right now thought. LOL

is giving some free skillpoints in anyway affected ccp then i wouldnt ask for it.... stop brown nosing and join the cause, after all it benifits everyone Big smile

I can't login using the exefile or the launcher.
Launcher is reporting as TQ offline, Running the EXE file reports an incompatibility version which will not allow me to login.

Update: EXEFILE generates the following trying to download a patch

"There was an unexpected error while retrieving update status:

Unable to download file /540656/evepremiumpatch540656.exe from the server.
Error: ('http protocol error', 0, 'got a bad status line', None)


Do you want to go to support page?"
