Random stopped to catch his breath. The intensity of Yiole’s passionate welcome left him gasping. He looked into her smoldering eyes and could tell that the feelings were reciprocated. He looked around slightly abashed but the capsuleers that had noticed the pair’s steamy meeting, had the sense to smile slyly in their drinks. Yiole backed up a step and began straightening her touselled outfit while steadying her racing heartbeat and rapid breath. He could still smell her on his clothes, his skin and he smiled, inhaling deeply. His lips still tingled from the intensity of the meeting.

She cleared her throat, as much to compose herself as to control the arousal from her speech. “You came back just in time.” She said, “Please do not be away this long again.” Her professional demeanor returned, although the hint of heat behind her eyes was unmistakable.

“I’m sorry.” Random countered, a slight blush creeping across his face. “I should have known better than to leave a lady in distress.”

Yiole’s brows knit on her forehead and her glance turned slightly icy. ‘Distress’ was hardly something she experienced. She straightened up and looked in his face, prepared to deliver a frosty retort but the impish grin that Random returned to her made her pause, and then smile. It was only a slight tease. She would make him pay for that insolence. Later. In private.

“What have I missed?” Random asked, looking around the capsuleer bar. “Seems that things are about how I left them.” When he met Yiole’s gaze though, he realized that he was incorrect. His face turned serious. “What has happened?” he asked.

Yiole patiently told Random about all the things that have occurred since his departure to war. He grew concerned when she touched upon Indah’s bad news and grave when he heard about the fight where Laudenum was badly injured. He quietly took it all in.

“Yiole, there is a camp on the gate leaving system. I don’t think they were capsuleer ships. They just didn’t move with the certainly of being pod controlled. Let Indah know that if she needs, I have one of my quickest ships in dock right now. Captain Springer is skilled and devious, he’ll get Indah through. It’s a damn sight better than taking a shuttle.” Random said, looking into her eyes. “ I really need to go see Laud.” He said, stepping towards her and bending down to put his face next to hers. “If you can give me an hour or two, I promise I’ll come right back.” He withdrew only enough to put his forehead to hers. “Can you find someone to cover your responsibilities in that time?”

She smiled and said “Even if I have to grab that idiot bouncer.”

He kissed her slowly, and with heat. “I’ll be right back.”

*Strolls into the bar from the docking bays, having woken up for his morning ritual of breakfast at the bar. Sniffing the air he can catch the scene of Gellentian Toast and Ammarian bacon covered with Achuran tree syrup.*

"Hmm, not since yesterday 6, it's a spot hard to discern now that she's taken to your dress, haircut and mannerisms... Why do you ask, how's it going?"

*Returns to pigging out on the delicious food*

*Drops a plate from the serving trays in front of 6, putting a bottle of syrup prominently beside the food*

"I find eating helps with the nerves".
