finally about to ship

It's pretty clear CCP is not making anything in the way of 3D, so like many others who didn't order the Oculus VR, I'm going to do without. for now. hey, I did my part by purchasing a unit in the first place.

I'm selling it on Ebay without opening the box. I paid $300 USD, they're going for this much.

I wish I had purchased five. playing market irl ftw

If their production was better, I wouldn't have this opportunity, nor would I be so put off by having to wonder where my $300 went for four months.

man I wish I had ordered more. (big moves make big money!)

*also: yes I feel embarrassed for gloating about it previously. but now I get to make money off it *nyah*

How could you have known it would have gone up in price?

I'm sitting on a few PC Skyrim Collectors editions though, bwuhahahhaha.

Bought 5 of them for £75 when GAME went bust in the UK.

Do I take it that the Oculus is essentially useless for the meantime then?

Kirjava, i know right? Oculus is still making promises about the current order. but a little bit of digging will reveal their production situation. you're right, there was no way of knowing initially, so I don't feel so bad. maybe I just need more practice in this area. Oculus dev kits are still cool (buyers!), but all hopes of any EVE relevance were dashed. after feeling deflated, and considering the option of gaining a bit of money, I'm hocking it.
