Curious if any EVE players are going to aid/screw over the Templars or if that is even possible. I, for one, would like to help them and deny pride to that pretentious cow.

CCP Eterne: "Today, the Empress Jamyl announced that on May 31st any first-generation cloned soldier who has not joined her will be considered an enemy of the Empire and issued a decree that any who hunt them down after that date will be rewarded.

In her statement, the empress said, “My Empire has extended open arms to any who have been inflicted with the terrible curse that is the first generation implants. We understand that they cause great pain, confusion, and suffering on a level that few can know. I empathize with their plight more than any can know. Many have already come to my side and are receiving the help they require. Yet I know there are hundreds, if not thousands, more who remain unsaved. Some remain apart from us out of fear. But do not allow fear to control you. Come to us and you shall find succor.”

As far as I can tell the only way that EVE players could help or hinder the Templars would be if the "actors" decided to play some FW matches. That way you could render orbital assistance if you were in the correct militia. This would require you to get in contact with a Templar actor to coordinate this and due to the random nature or the selection this could be a challenge.

On the odd chance that a dev reads this please try to get Templars from all the regions, not just the US and EU. Australia loves this game too. Big smile

This looks like an awesome DUST event. And here I was thinking those could not be done. Oops

ADD: In fact, that statement does give this event enough credit. Lending out the event characters to some players and let them try out some weapons that have not released yet is a brilliant idea. Events like these will clearly improve DUSTs position on the market.
